People and their names have always been an important factor for the Zaini family...

The founder himself did not invent a name for his confectionery factory, but instead decided to use his own. And in the same way he chose, as tribute to a special person, to give a woman’s name to the company’s flagship chocolate: that of Emilia, the family cook.

Finally, but only in chronological order, the recipes for chocolate desserts were dedicated to Zio Piero, one of the founder’s sons. These can still be seen today on the wrappers of Emilia extra dark chocolate.
